For the sixth year in a row the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CBCF) has partnered with the National Medical Association (NMA) to present a Professional Development Series (PDS) focusing on the clinical, policy, and social determinants of health. The NMA PDS is held as part of the CBCF’s Annual Legislative Conference which is the leading policy conference on issues impacting African Americans and the global black community.
This year’s PDS consist of six pre-recorded 60-minute webinars, topics include: Increasing African American Male Participation in STEM, Enhancing Diversity in Clinical Trials, Impact of COVID-19 on Longevity in Black and Brown Communities, Tobacco Prevention, Environmental Health and Climate Justice, and Addressing Health Disparities through Partnerships.
